Wishing For More
Away she runs, into the mountains
Where her heart can finally see
And even though, she has no where to go
She wants to run, run free
Like a flying bird, she wants to soar
And forget what her heart desires
But at the same time she wants to go back
And fix all the broken wires
She sees’ herself with him forever and all her life and more
Yet she doesn’t want what he wants, which is stuck behind a door
She wants to be able, to explore and find
New places and new things
But he wants to stay where he is trapped
Like a bird with broken wings
Yet now she’s here and doesn’t know why she doesn’t feel so glad
Because her heart wants him, with him by her side
And to never again be sad
So she turns and around and there she finds
The boy she just loves so, standing there willing to go
Wherever she wants to go
