Hide and Go Seek
Remember back when we were kids?
The hours that we spent playing?
From early in the morning till the afternoon?
Our favorite game was hide and go seek.
We knew each other so well we knew,
Exactly where the other would be hiding.
Boys had cooties, so our parents wouldn’t worry.
We never got hurt except for skinned knees.
Never, did we have to worry about anything at all.
Now, there’s so much drama in our lives.
Were losing friends that we’ve known forever.
And they’re dying because they don’t seem to care.
Don’t you ever have any moments,
When you wish you were a kid again?
Or play hid and seek but never be found?
