Holding Ground
I've been born encased in plyable walls,
Suffocated with mocking screams of arogance,
Escape is what warning calls,
Requiring my withering independance.
I've been drained of confidence amongst these machines,
The vibrant color melting from my skin,
This town manufactures intillectual fiends,
And I dance through them like sin.
I've been at constant combat with the surrounding mold,
Piercing my hate through the streets I travel,
But I've recently understood a secret this town holds;
It's not forcing me to conform, but teaching me to not unravel.
