How to be a Swan
Swim upon a placid, quiet lake.
Spread your fragile wings apart.
Glide across the cold, still pool that never holds a wave.
And float forever smoothly.
Resting forever keeps you within the sameness of the stream.
Your safety then depends upon the stillness of the air, the maintenance of it's attitude, the caution in it's stare.
Your wings are kept within the borders of it's bounds, never then to fly away. You're ever but, a devoted bird, sensitive and shy, kept away from danger's knock, and every turning sea, resting like a song's sad note.
