Death's Kiss
When death placed a kiss upon your lips
The passion ended, my heart broke
The only one safe place I’ve known
Is gone
The anticipation,
The waiting to see your smile,
On that next date is lost forever now
Lost in that red pool of blood
Shining like the morning dew on the rose,
I picked to give to you tonight
But that rose you will never see
I was to kiss your lips
But death did my job
Death stole your last kiss
You belong to him now
