I don't know what you want from me,
I don't know how to be a friend to you.
I know you've got your issues,
but I have a dozen of my own.
I know you've got your problems,
but I have problem of my own.
You tell me to be this way,
that is not my way.
You tell me to do those things,
I don't do those things.
You tell me how to act,
how to feel,
how to think.
I'm sorry that how I act,
how I feel,
how I think,
is not good enough for you.
I don't know what you want from me,
I don't know how to be a friend to you.
But,
I don't think you know how to be a friend,
to me either.

I'd rather be sorry for something that I did than for something I didn't do.

I really liked the way your poem flowed...the repetition really helped the pattern too. I loved the way you tied everything together with the last lines, finishing what you started and leaving the reader to think. Personally, I would prefer a bit more emotion... it seemed slightly dry...but that's just me...but...you definitely have your own voice, and it's great!

Hey Wonder! I really like this poem, very deep and meaningful. Please write more!
