Sitting on the Ancient Wood
Sitting on the ancient wood the salty
breeze hitting out face's
saving our skin from the brutal heat of the sun. The way you glance
at me from the corner of you eye-making no judgments.
Your eyes full of: kindness, warmth,
soft and thoughtful glances.
The deep blue, fears lee green
the twinkle you shine glows the most
when you smile like the brightest
star int he night: star of love.
The touch of summer on the palm of your hands;
Scorching temperatures and moist
from your skin let me believe you were human like me.
