We see them shining high in the night sky
As the earth spins our view of them changes
From the moonlight sky
To a path of starlight
Their white light
Shows us things that we would not have seen other wise
they hold dreams and wishes 'And sometimes they fall
Stars are like friends
Sometimes you don't see them
But they're always here
Giving us comfort
And something to look up to
Nothing fake
Just the sight of the ones before us
