"Special"
The world around her was perfect,
But her mind was cracked,
But not shattered.
She walked.
She talked.
She thought.
But her walk,
Her talk,
Her thoughts
Were not accepted.
Her walk was broken.
Her speech was slurred.
Her thoughts went unheard.
She cried without tears.
She smiled without movement.
She was numb to their words.
She aged rapidly,
And passed discretely,
And was forgotten.
And the perfect world
Left her special mind unused,
But never wasted,
No, never wasted.
