Senses
With all those lies you tried to
brainwash and hypnotize me.
You just wanted my pride unseen.
Leaving me down on the ground to
hear the sounds of our broken home.
People gathered in groups, but still so alone.
I've never seen so much pain distill on a face.
We all lost our place, but we lost it altogether.
You could blame it on the gloomy weather of our mastermind.
Trying to find the time when indifference was just fine.
With all those lies you said we'd be here forever;
we'd never be severed from this place you call home.
In the darkness you'll roam, searching for humanity.
But being left down on the ground you'll only hear the sound of insanity.
