Real
In A Room Full Of Mannequins
I Am The Only One Breathing
My Hands Tremble…My Heart Races Forward
As Their Glass-Like Eyes Stare In Silence…Void Of All Emotion
They All Look The Same…Motionless And Heartless
No Pumping Of Blood Through Their Veins…No Beating Of Their Hearts
They Sit Like Clones
Following Each Other…Intimidating Those Who Dare To Be Different
Their Arms And Legs Bend All The Same
Their Words Are All Lies
While I Walk To Places Unknown
They Stay Where They Are And Do What They’ve Always Known
Plastic And Worn Eventually They Fall Apart…Breaking Down As They March
And Yet I Am Still Together…Walking Freely
Unique And Unafraid To Express…I Am Real…
