My friend asks for help.
I nod and point the way.
Father says I must begone.
I nod and sigh.
Artemis asks for advice.
I nod and gesticulate.
My half-sister says I am lucky.
I nod and soothe her pain.
You ask for something I do not wish to give.
I laugh and push you away.
My new friend jokes she could have been my daughter.
I nod, knowing she should have been.
