Runaway, Runaway
So long cruel world
I cannot stay
Running from the bloody gore
not once looking back
my whole body is sore
My husband is gone
they killed my son too
Escaping the pain
but what else can I do?
Never will I be able to erase
all the fear and agony
that I have faced
Forced into labor
Mistreated and crushed
My child began screaming
so I told her to hush
This is my story
Forever running away
My spirit is free
but my blood-stained body will stay
