Alone
What sweeping sorrow awaits her here,
from which she cannot hide?
To be forevermore alone,
it is her curse.
She weeps silently.
Afraid to tell him.
She knows she is unable to keep him here,
with her.
Yet unable to forget their love.
'He loves Her, that side; not me' she thinks,
unable to restrain the nagging voice of self doubt.
'For how could he ever love a person as screwed up as me?
