Goodbye and Good Luck

When you think back
To all the good times we had,
Do you ever wish
You weren't leaving?
When you dream of me
On that dreadful night,
Do you picture my tears?
If all you'd said,
Was, it's time to move on,
Do you really think I'd have forgiven you?
So next time...
When you go to leave...
Remember to say Goodbye.
Because then,
I would have forgiven you,
And although I would've cried,
They would not have been tears of hatred.
So I guess,
That this is my way of saying,
Goodbye,
And that I have forgiven you.
Goodbye and good luck.
