Thy and Me
The greatest wish I’ve ever done,
Brought thy home to me.
But in the end,
Though I won,
It wasn’t happily.
On the shore I hugged thee,
Kissed thy stone cold cheek.
The tears kept pooling in my eyes,
Sobs from my lips for thee
I felt thy presence slip away
And with it all of me
You held my heart my very soul
Now all that’s left of me
Is how my wish had came to be
And dreams of thy and me.
