Like Me
My apprenticeship is
Closing,
But I have much more to
Uncover.
Though I could snatch my
Dreams
Within just a
Heartbeat,
I drastically miss,
Carrying up no more than an
Empty hand.
The sound of
Nothing is
Quiet.
Very Quiet.
But as these
Charred
Puzzle-pieces
Fall into place,
I fall apart,
And those once near
Dreams
Are gone.
Like Me.
