Fifteen and Dumb
Fifteen and dumb
Young and "in love"
Rough violet carpet
Under my skin,
Leaving indentations
On my thighs that I
Always worried
Were too big,
Especially around him,
Scrawny as he was,
And short, too,
Not a good thing
For a tall girl
Like
Me.
Wasn't really expecting it,
Definitely wasn't ready yet.
But too late,
Here it comes,
Nothing else to do but
Close my eyes and
Hope to God he doesn't think
I'm
a
Bad
Kisser.
It was really unremarkable,
Not what I expected my first one
Would be like.
But he obviously enjoyed it,
And he was someone who adored me,
So what more could I ask for?
Right?
So I put on a smile,
But it takes many more
Of these kisses to realize
This kid is not my
Prince Charming.
