In a Mirror
I see my sad reflection
Eyes staring at me blankly
Mystified by your attraction
I've been thinking about us lately
I look deeper for my soul
But in the place of my heart
There's only a gaping hole
Created by every hurt and lie you told
I can finally see myself
As I look into my eyes
Knowing that there is no help
I wonder why I ever cried
I see everything I am
And I'm not filled with terror
I love what I see I am
I see this in a mirror.
