Angels Kiss
The bottom of my soul is oh so very cold,
My tales are gone and my stories are told
My heart to the devil is sold
And all I have to hold onto
To stop from endless falling
The fate so most appalling
To all but stop from drowning
Despite the kings a crowning
An angels kiss across the cheek
Fill with fortune what once was bleak
Gave me life and gave me wings
Stopped my death in hell
And broke Satan’s reached spell
So I will hold tight and bold to the promise I’ve been told,
By the girl made of gold
When I could barely speak
An angel kissed me on the cheek.
