Summer
It came in with the morning tide
It rose up with the sun
I feel it's been for ages
Though its only just begun
It's genteel in the morning hours
It's swarthy at midday
The evenings are eternal
'Til you've found it's passed away
And then the days grow shorter
As the cold begins to rise;
All summers last forever
Just before all summers die.
