If you cannot convince a fascist aquaint his head with the pavement-trotsky
The bourgeoisie might blast and ruin its own world before it leaves the stage of history. We carry a new world, here, in our hearts. That world is growing this minute.“ durry

IT WAS 30 YEARS
OUR GREAT GRANDPARENTS STOOD
UP AGAINST THE ENEMIES
THE CAPITALISTS
AND THE STATE
THATS SUPPORTS THEM

THEIR GRANDPARENTS
WHO HAD FOUGHT
IN THE UNIONS
TO GIVE THEIR KIDS
THE CHANCE TO RISE
SAID THEY WERE
NAI.VE AND FOOLISH

THEY HAD GROWN UP
THEY HAD TAKEN THE
OFFERINGS OF THE RULERS
SOLD OUT TO THE ENEMY
THEY JOINED THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY,
AND THOUGHT THAT MADE
THEM LEFT WING

NOW IT WAS THE 80’S
AND THE PUNK MUSIC
WAS LOUD AS THE FAS.CISTS MARCHED
OUT CAME OUR PARENTS AND FOUGHT THEM
AND SAID FU.CK YOU THEY FOUGHT THEM
IN THE STREETS AND IN THE MUSIC HALLS

THEIR PARENTS
SAID, NO DON’T FIGHT
BE PEACEFUL, WHEN THEY
WERE ONLY ALIVE BECAUSE
THE K.LAN OR THE COPS
HADN’T KILLED THEM
COWARDS, THEY HAD GROWN UP

NOW OUR GENERATION IS RISING
TO TELL THE BANKSTERS THAT
TOOK OUR HOMES AND OUR JOBS
AND SAYING F*** YOU
THEIR’S NO WA.R BUT THE CLASS WA.R
AND OUR PARENTS SAY
“VOTE DEMOCRATIC IT IS THE BEST
HOPE, IT IS LEFT WING.”
THEY GREW UP

I MUST ASK WHAT WILL
HAPPEN WHEN OUR KIDS
RISE UP, TO WEAR THE BLACK FLAG
AND SING THE RED ONE
WILL WE HAVE GROWN UP
OR WILL WE BE A GENER
OF CHOMSKY’S AND ZINNS
OF GOLDMANS AND DURRUTI’S
OF OLD RADICALS GUIDING
THE NEW REVOLUTIONARIES

FOR THIS HISTORY WILL
JUDGE US, NOT HOW WE
FIGHT TODAY WHEN IT IS
ONLY THE C.OPS STICKS
BUT WHEN IT IS THE CARROTS
OF CARRIERS WHITE PICKETS
PATRIOTISM AND FAITH

The union are back and their hippies. The hippies are back and their punks. The punks are back and their occupiers.

They all got old fat and middle class, we will to.
