She
She might not always understand,
But I love her all the same.
She's my weak side and my blind side,
She's the rainbow in my rain.
She's the shooting star I wish upon
When my skies are painted gray.
She's the winter coat that keeps me warm,
When my hopes have gone astray.
She's the shoulder that I cry on,
When the mean boys break my heart.
She always knows just want to say,
To reassemble its parts.
She's the empty voice that whispers,
As I hide beneath my covers.
She's the heart that’s beating just for me...
My hope. My heart. My mother.
