Goodbye
The Shadows creep over us
Block out or light I bite my lip as I watch you leave me
 I cant stop your death
Hot tears stream down my cheeks like rain
Your blood is a ruby lake on the cobbled road

I touch your now lifeless face
Your pale skin a deathly shade of grey
A soft sob escapes my lips as I look into your cold eyes
My long hair brushes your unmoving chest as i hide my face in your neck
You'll never hold me again, never kiss me the way you once did

They pull me away from you
I struggle against their iron grip
 "He's dead," one says
I feel my heart being ripped out of my chest
 "Let him go," says another

 I'm at your funeral
The sticky wind is breathing down my neck
 I touch your cold brow.
No life is left. No soul
 Tears roll down my cheeks
 I'm letting you go
 Goodbye
