Streets of Glass
If I could walk on streets of glass
 And mem'ry lay below me
The days that come, the days that pass
 Would drift there, clearly, slowly
I'd look right through to skies of blue
 That floated o'er my summers
And feel again those fears of youth,
 Of darkness and of thunder
I'd jump a little harder, higher
 'Til that sky I shattered
And fall right through, 'til all was new
 And only pleasure mattered
Into a day where all the world
 Again lay out before me,
And time so far away would swirl
That age would ne'er come for me
