In the After
August 21, 2012
its always better
the morning after
the pain makes an escape
with your dreams
and you remember neither
the tears are tired
from crying you to sleep
and refuse to be seen
this early in the day
your feelings have gone home
to their wives and children
so no one was on duty
to make misery do his job
misery is on hiatus
and has asked happiness
to step in
and bring smile along.
