Take this heart of gold
And turn it back to lead
Drown out all the words
Of love you've ever said
Steal away the purity
Make it revert to black
I know I gave you love
But I don't want any back
Hate me like you should,
Do not miss me at all.
I don't need you there
To watch me as I fall.

This is a wonderful poem. I read through some comments and I just want to say, no matter how hard things get, I'm sure you can overcome them. Just from the sound of your poetry, I can tell you are a strong person. I don't know you, but I just wanted to tell you that. Don't ever let anyone bring you down, and stay strong.

Yeah. My mom helps me a lot. She took 6 years of spanish. Four in HS and two in college. :)

That's awesome. I don't know much french yet but I can't wait to learn. There are lots of people in my health class that are learning spanish so I have a lot of people trying to test me and see if I can write and speak it fleuntly. I can speak it well but my problem is grammar I never learned grammar. I could write it out right but I don't speak proper spanish. My mom told me I speak street spanish. Ha! :)

English, very close to knowing Spanish, and I started teaching myself French last year.

Yeah! That would be really nice. :) What languages do you know? For me : English(Ha! Of course), spanish,and after high school french.

Well, for starters, we'd both be trilingual XD Also, I'd probably say something like, "Hey, you're the girl from TI who I talked to about almosy anything and everything for hours" :)

I want to have a job but once I meet the right person then I'll want to raise a family be a stay at home mom. I want to travel and meet new people. Maybe leave with my grandparents in Mexico for a while. Learn different languages. I'm going to learn french this year. I am bilengual but I want to be at least trilengual. :)

Some people are just not compatible with their family. Your a senior in high school I'm sure you have plans for college so you can change your outcome of your life. Like me yes I get along with my family but it's because I don't feel that I can tell them everything. I plan on moving to New York or California. My sister wants to come with but I'm not sure if I want to have my sister with me. Because I don't want my family to feel likeI'm influencing her to do the things I want. I want to be a therapist, a waitress,or a writer. Or even all three. I want to help others, or feed others even if it's not a well paid job, or inspire others with life experiences and my imagination. That's not what my parents want. They don't want be to go to college or have a low paid job even if it's feed others, and my parents support my writing but never appreciate what I've written. I remember the first time my mom got my backpack and read all my poems I wrote for this guy that I was in love with. She laughed and asked me if I was serious about loving him. It's a terrible feeling. But I'm sorry that you to deal with that at home. Zhugs ZechZ
