Rewind
I'm taken back to the lost days
To way back when we raced hot wheels in the hallways
Don't let your childhood drift past you, yeah that's what they all say
But they really are right
Your super hero dreams gone - bright days turn to dark nights
Growing up is life's left hook in this constant bar fight
Memories of better times slip by and you try to hold tight
Times like this make you want to end it all and you just might
You know you're lying to yourself when you say you're all right
I chalked my name in the pavement of life's crossroads
The writing on the wall said other people lost hope
Let their dreams and thoughts go
People say life is stocks so I sold high and bought low
If time really flies I wonder where the flocks go
