Weary eyes shut against mid-morning sun
A face upturned to the day
A honey-sweet breeze cools fiery cheeks
Surrounded by flowers that sway
And dance in a song of mysterious joy
Their colors a dazzling array

Sit still and you feel the life of the earth
The soul of the land where you rest
Hear the humming of bees and the rustling of trees,
A tune that sings in your chest
The wonders that range from a mountain's peak
To the life in a mockingjay's nest
