vampires loose in chicago

their coming for us she screams
grabbing her little girl up
her eyes full of fear
running ahead to the forest
ducking behind a fallen tree
checking to see if they were near
her husband runs by
whispering his name he turns back
it happened he's one, one of them
grabbing the closest rock and stick
she prepares for battle against a vampire
by now there's lots more coming
the disease is spreading fast
hitting him in the face
she grabs her daughter and runs out of Chicago
