Since you left, it has been so quiet and dark.
The rocking chair you used to sit in is now in dust.
The lamp you used to use is now off,
Lights out which way do we turn?

The pain still resides in us all.
Smiling on the outside as if it’s ok
But on the inside just dying to get away from the pain.

As days go by nothing ever changes.
Alone in the house, the car, and
Just thinking, what if?

The permanent scar is eternal, and so is our faith.
