An Ode to Penny

Penny you are gentle, sweet, and kind.
You can be protective, fun, and alert.
Sometimes you can be crazy.
While other times you are calm.
Penny you are very good at hunting.
You can jump high and run fast.
Sometimes you get out of the baby gates.
While other times you listen to my commands.
Penny you are very important.
You keep me on my toes.
Sometimes you help me get through a tough day.
While other times you just curl up as if to say, "It's going to be alright."
