Paradise

Mesmerized by the sweet-sounding waves gently lapping the shore,
I can hear no one but the rhythmic sounds of the water,
the lukewarm sand between my toes is soothing to my feet,
the alluring salty air smells as sweet as a honeysuckle,
a gentle ocean breeze caresses against my bare skin,
I open my eyes to see the turquoise sky reflect onto the crystal blue ocean,
The tranquil clouds as white as a blanket of new fallen snow,
I gaze out on the horizon and cannot tell where the ocean ends,
It goes on forever,
This is paradise
