The cool breeze on a snowy day,
You and I all bundled up together.
The bitter cold would soon make you sick,
But we had fun despite the weather.

Our snow angels fell apart.
You messed mine up and I yours.
We were having so much fun,
We never noticed all the slamming doors.

Cody, our dog, was shipped from Alaska.
I tied him to your toy box lid,
Let him go
And away you slid.

You laughed and smiled
As your face hit the snow.
You’d make an even bigger ball
And, for you, I’d run very slow.

Then we’d go inside
For some hot chocolate
And a warm blanket.
We’d both gaze into the locket.

These are fond memories of you
Brother and sister, Sue.
My only hope is that
You remember them, too.
