Sunsets are feature films
Waiting…
Waiting patiently.
In the golden and saffron crisped grasses
a girl
Yearns for the spectacular
Suddenly buffets of wind thrust themselves into the limelight
Making a boastful entrance to an evening of whimsy
Her russet ringlets swirl into the evening sky
She knows the curtain will close soon
Brilliant pools of color flood the harvest skies
The show has begun
A stillness creeps through the air
With only the sound of her breath
And the feeling of her fingers shaking
She whispers, so not a soul could hear;
“Dazlious”
