My mama died
My mama died six years ago
The hardest part is letting her go
The memories just fade away...
How she tucked me in,
And kissed me goodnight
How she was always there
With her thoughts to share
To keep me safe
Away from pain
Away from trouble,
And out of harms way
Oh mom how I miss you,
And how I wish I were there
So the world couldn't hurt me,
And we'd have more thoughts to share.
