My Nightmare
My Nightmare
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord your heart is mine to keep
And if you die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take
I can’t imagine a life without you
I can’t imagine my heart being ripped apart in two
You are the love of my life
You are my life
A life without you is death
I'm dying now
Don’t leave me
Don’t do this to me
I need you
I need you not to leave me
What would I do
What would I do if I woke up
Without you?
I can’t go on living
But I won’t die
I will live like I'm dead
Just an empty shell
My own personal hell
Blood stains on your floor
I drop to my knees as the tears begin to pour
Why did you do this
Why did you
Didn’t you know I wanted to save you?
Love you?
Take care of you too?
But now you're gone
And I'm still here
This little scene concludes my biggest fear
Living a life without you here
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord your heart is mine to keep
And if you die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take
