Birth is beautiful, yet only lasts a moment.
Childhood is innocent, yet it’s only taken so fast.
Friends are fading, yet they’re only people.
Fears are blinding, yet they only last a while.
Scars are engraved, yet they’ll only hurt a minute.
Time is short, yet it’s only a number.
Life is wary, yet it’s only a definition.
Love is wonderful, yet it’s only a state of mind.
Family is forever, yet they always leave.
Death is permanent, yet it’s not the end.
Endings are sad, yet they’re only the beginning.
