Looking For Tomorrow
In a quaint way I feel the day fade away
Yesterday is useless, in the spirit of time
All that has passed is gone; it will not change
Sitting alone in the dark
Twilight so fair, darkness inviting
Black beats my heart; cold are my words
As my life lingers on,
I always hold on to the concept of peace,
Inner serenity divine
I’m waiting for the new day,
I’m looking for tomorrow
Because I couldn’t find today
