This Is My Letter To The World

This is my letter to the world
I will be remembered
I smile at this
Remembered as one of those
short quiet girls
I never said much
but the information, words
were in my eyes
They'd know my as a
free spirit
thinker
most importantly a
writer
I stood before them, people
as who I was
No changes
No alterations
This is my letter to the world
that I will be remembered
that I was here
I hope the world knows
me
After I am long
gone
No questions
No understanding

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem last year. When I wrote this I was think about wheather or not people will be reading all of my poems and stories when I am dead. I thought that it would make me happy if I left something for new generation to discover. That would be my writing. What I want the readers to get out of this poem is that even if your gone, you still have something that people will be amazed at years from now. You wont truely be forgoten. No matter if it pictures or writings.
