Carpe Diem
The sun rises, as the wandering world awakes;
Afraid of fear, they count down the days;
For the world is just a clicking clock,
As they pursue for more time, it’s only response is “tick, tock.”
Then suddenly a phrase catches their ears,
With that phrase they pour out tears,
For their life has been rotted away,
“Carpe Diem, Seize the day!”
Instantly, they alter their life around,
A new path, A new goal- Has been found.
The ticking clock they learn to shut out,
No longer do they plead for more time, or shout.
Every time they think of their past,
They promise to live everyday like it’s their last.
Thanks to one phrase, they changed their way,
“Carpe Diem, Seize the day!”
