When the Frame is Broken
she
can
mock
me
an infinitesimal difference
two shades of blue -
might have been the definition of
brush bristles
sweet/sharp/silk/soft. sin
as i contemplate her
mind's sky, eye's sky.
one forever hand, breath as bosom
painful, glorious blue. i might
stand here until time turns
churns her gut, ..
pull us both out/into dark, oblivion
full blue.
will not mock me
stuttering like a donkey
at her face
my whisper of existence. a grain of sand -
that fell to a sea. marinating, a smothered charcoal
different blue, pursed blue, cursed blue
she
might wrap me
in bigness. if i can keep my
toes here, touching soul and white
leaving my shoelaces one sordid. homeless.
blue
