If you could look through the window
Of time,
Would you?
If you could being the floor of gravity,
Would you?
The barrel of today
Is poised over our eyelids.
If you could look at the
House of the universe past it,
Would you?
Though the homeowner
Doesn’t like intruders,
And is pointing a gun
Directly at your face.
