Carry Our Nation
We're not children, we're teens now
But they say we still can't intervene
With their actions
Those that ruin our nation
And their "Big" conversations
That they say has nothing to do with
The younger population
But someday our generation
Will carry our nation
Higher than those before us
We shall be stronger together
We'll have the appreciation of all
We won't fake our power,
We're going to make it alright
I'll make my pledge tonight
It's now or never
Take what is yours
Take what belongs to you
Teens are Americans too
We're not children, we're teens now
But they say we still can't intervene
With their decisions
About those across the nation
And their political problems
That they can't solve
Without harming those involved
But someday our generation
Will carry our nation
Higher than those before us
We shall be stronger together
We'll have the appreciation of all
We won't fake our power,
We're going make it alright
I'll make my pledge tonight
It's now or never
Take what is yours
Take what belongs to you
Teens are Americans too
