Monster
Children so afraid
Of the beast in the dark,
When the lights fade,
Their hopes fall apart.
Deep in the closet
They think monsters wait,
Waiting for tiredness
To take over their bate.
As we grow up
We think they're all gone,
You're no longer afraid of
'Something', now 'Someone',
Because as opposed to the closet
Where we thought they waited,
We learn that High-School
Is where monsters are created.
