The Change Machine
The Change Machine
The change machine rejects my bill
I groan in annoyance
The change machine sits in a cramped corner
Between two soda machines
I’ve learned something about this change machine
It only takes dollar bills
And it won’t take dollars that are worn out
Or wrinkled
Or that have folded edges
Why can’t it just take my crumpled five dollar bill?
That would be much less complicated
