A Different Rose
Innocence,
An aura of brightest gold.
A natural shine that lights my heart.
Affection given out like candy,
My soul swells in your presence.
A tickle,
A giggle.
How could I help but adore you?
Silken hair atop your head,
Chocolate eyes surrounded by the longest lashes,
The kind of eyes that could ask for anything,
And with a bat,
Get it.
Your smile, contagious.
And when she is in the sweetest of moods,
Who could help, but love her?
After all of this,
Who would think I would love a two-year-old this much?
