Not So Far Away
I watch the sun go up and,
I know it's the same one that kisses your face.
I feel the warmth of the sun and,
I wish I could be your source of warmth.
I breath in the fresh oxygen in the air and,
I think I could be breathing in recycled air from you.
I lay in my bed warm and cozy and,
I look at your picture wishing you were with me.
I dress in my nice suit'n'tie and
I imagine you here pulling me back into bed with you.
I walk threw my day and,
I have your hand in mine guiding me to safety.
I am back in bed looking at the moon and,
I know we are looking at the same one.
I see that shooting star and,
I wish you were in my arms to whisper to.
