Summer
Day by day I pray,
That Summer will come again someday
The warmth, the fun, no school
Having fun by swimming in the pool
Playing with Jazz
Listening to her sass
Going to the park,
Without having to learn about Noah's Ark
Swimming at the beach
Without my family being out of reach
Sitting at home
While listening for the phone
Knowing that it'd be mom at the other end
Without worrying about where's my pen
Like an angel, I'll soar above,
My family's love
Summer
