The Woman
I sit home,
Alone
While the rain falls
On the window.
As the wind is
Blowing outside I listen
While it tells me a story
Of a young women
That was like me
She loved to sing and dance
While it rained.
I climb my bed stairs
And close me eyes as
I fall asleep.
I awake to
What seems like I
Was a sleep forever
But there was that women
She was beautiful
Here eyes blue like the sky
Hair as gold as
The sun.
And Danced like the room had no floor
And sang as beautiful
As if a bird was in her
Throat.
That mystery woman
That the wind told me about
Was with me always
To keep me
company.
As I sat home alone on a stormy
Night.
